Softball Times, the newspaper, is based out of Lexington, Kentucky and is owned and published by Raymond Moscoe. 19 years ago Kentucky Softball News was started as a newspaper. In an effort to include regional and national softball news, he changed the title to the current Softball Times. Moscoe has also incorporated this website which compliments his newspaper with teaser stats, photos, message board, and other softball related pages.

Moscoe was an avid softball player until just last year when he gave up his playing days to coach and dedicate more time to Softball Times. Moscoe has worn many softball caps besides those of player and coach. He has been a tournament director on the ASA "Super" level among others. He has sponsored many softball teams and is currently 1 of 6 board members for Kentucky's Softball Hall of Fame & Honor.

Moscoe had dedicated over 30 years to playing and covering softball in the bluegrass region and is looking forward to his next 30, promoting Softball Times, the paper and the website.
